 1ST Annual OTTAWA WEST DRESSAGE DAYS at Starlit Farm
We
held our first annual Dressage Days show on August 14, 2005 under cloudy
skies, but the rain held off for most of the day. That
made the weather perfect for horse showing, not too hot, not too
cold and not too wet. Congratulations to all involved in
making the day so successful! Special thanks to our judge,
Stacey Nixon, for agreeing to judge our show and for the
wonderful job she did in making exhibitors feel at ease in the
ring. Thank you to all our volunteers who took the time
out of their own busy schedules to spend the day at the farm
ensuring that the show ran smoothly & professionally. To
Roger Dignard who constructed the dressage ring this spring and
ran the BBQ for hungry exhibitors. To Keith and Ed for
ensuring that the ring was groomed to perfection. To our
sponsors, your contribution is especially noted, we couldn't
have provided the prizes for the winning entries without your
support! Exhibitors, please note, if you left before the
end of the show and you have been named Champion or Reserve
Champion rider you have ribbons & prizes to pick up.
