known as Faj. he has been residing with Lise since the age of 4 and has
been companion to many friends. He has been a ridden over the
years by many individuals whether they were knowledgeable in equestrian
sports or not. He has had several disciplines with english and
western and has also shown several times in local fairs but his ultimate
enjoyment came on the trails for most of his years. Now at this
age he is enjoying the companionship of his other equine friends and
will remain at Starlit until his last breath. |

Chocolate- Shetland
Pony, owned by Kailan Clark This elderly mare is Kailan's first
equine friend which she was pleased to receive on her 3rd birthday
anniversary. Chocolate is now considered our farm mascot and
enjoys her years fulfilled with green pastures and her other equine
friends |

SMX Tyson+/- Registered
Half-Arabian Gelding, owned by Kailan Clark. Semi-Retired
after a full career of showing from 4 years old to 21 years old. During
his career he has attained his AHA Legion of Honour and Supreme Legion
of Honor as well as achieved his points for his Legion of Merits.
He has competed twice at Canadian Nationals in Regina with Kailan at his
side. He has commenced his show career with Western Pleasure and
at the age of 16 was converted to Dressage under the direction of Kailan.
At the age of 20, Kailan is now undergoing training over fences.
Tyson is very versatile and has done several different disciplines from
Western Pleasure, Western Trail, Hunter over fences, Hunter Pleasure,
Arabian Native Costume, Gaming, Dressage and lets not forget the best
partner to be with on a trail ride. Kailan has been with him under
saddle since she was only a day old just out of the hospital and it is
evident that they are deeply connected and their partnerhship is one we
can only dream of ever having |

This very talented Mare has been competing since she turned 4 and after
just 4 months under saddle won Eastern Canadian Breeders Champion Hunter
Pleasure and there was no stopping her. In only two years she has
earned her Legion of Honors, Supreme Legion of Honors and also received
3 Top Ten Canadian National Titles not to mention an abundance of
Regional Championship titles in both Region 16 and 18. |

This sweet Mare is retired after producing several amazing foals.
LaDeeDa Diva will be commencing her training in 2011 and will be shown
in 2012 with lots of promise with the beautiful filly. Diva has a very
correct confirmation and will excel in any discipline. She is very

training over fences. He is very willing horse and goes well on

Colorado RF - Purebred
Arabian Gelding, owned by Kailan Clark. This very new mount
for Kailan has lots of promise in the show ring with already with
several Regional Championship wins in Halter. He commenced his
undersaddle career in Region 16 this year and qualified for Hunter
Pleasure Junior Horse and Hunter Pleasure Junior to Ride. Just two
weeks following showed in Region 18 and was Hunter Pleasure Champion
with his 13 year old rider Kailan Clark. Once again Kailan has
been fortunate to find a bond with her new partner which will be
competing at 2010 Canadian Nationals in Regina |

Purebred Arabian Gelding, owned by Lise Clark. Better Known
as Trooper, he has currently been saddled and ridden. He is very
easy to train and extremely willing. Cross-ties, bathes, clips,
trailers, great with vets and farriers. He loves the attention and
is always the first to greet you in the paddocks. He will be ready for

Broadway Lincoln-
Registered Canadian Sport Horse Gelding owned by Barb Gladwish and residing at
Starlit since 2003. This
gelding has partnered with Barb since his childhood and has been trained
solely by Barb. Now enjoying his semi-retirement at Starlit,
he is still being lightly ridden and enjoys Barb's companionship.
Better known as Linc, he has progressed over the year all the way to
performing and training in half-steps and has competing for many years
at the Dressage Silver Level after he completed his final year at the
Royal Winter Fair in line classes as a three year old in Toronto. |

Ravenna - Registered
Hanovarian mare owned by Barb Gladwish and residing at Starlit since
purchased in 2008. After a long search for
Barb's new riding partner Ravenna was found and became a new member of
her family. Ravenna residing alongside of Linc share Barb's
attention on a daily basis.
After a few months under Barb handling and training, it was evident
that she would be competing this year in Dressage. With only a few shows
under her belt for her first year of her show career she has definitely
made a mark in the ring. She has been successful in achieving her
scores in first level and was Champion Eastern Division Silver Dressage
Championship Amateur to Ride First Level
Watch out for these two girls in 2010 when they make their debut at
the National Level |

Tango - Registered
Half-Arabian Gelding owned by Vivian Thompson and residing at Starlit
since 2003. He may be small but
he's all there and make no mistakes about him, he's a tough one to beat
in the show ring. Tango has been very competitive over his show
career with his performance at Class A Arabian shows in Country English
Pleasure. He's taken most of the first place ribbons and has
several champion ribbons currently under his belt. Tango is enjoying his
time at Starlit with a short pause from showing and will be returning to
the show ring in 2010 to make a debut in Hunter Pleasure. Vivian
has a uncanny connection with Tango and his willingness to please and
his desire to be with people is easily seen to anyone who knows this
gelding. |

Zak -
Registered T
Thoroughbred Gelding owned by Bob Morrissey and residing at Starlit
since 2004. This very tall gelding was
fortunate to find his match with Bob and receive the exceptional care
and attention that all horses deserves. This one person horse
seems to be content when cared and ridden by his human friend. I'm sure
Bob finds peace when being with Zak after a hard week's work and
requires his regular horse fix just to keep life in balance.
For all others at the farm we feel Zak's presence as he makes his
routine statement when it comes to feeding time or treat time. The
barn wouldn't be the same without Zak telling all the other horses that
someone is approaching the hay or that he needs to go out first. |

Lucy -
Holsteiner mare owned by Anne Pickering residing at Starlit since April
2009. This mare patiently waited out west for her travel to Ottawa
to be re-united with her owner. She travelled well and both were
very pleased to now be residing in the same part of the country.
Being of very young age Lucy is doing well in her dressage training and
is maturing well. |

Riley -
Registered Thoroughbred Gelding owned by Heather Living and residing at
Starlit since 2008. After having his short stay on the track,
Riley was fortunate to have found his new partner with Heather for a new
chapter in his life. Riley is enjoying his peaceful environment
and welcomed the change of pace that he is now benefitting from. |

April -
Quarter Horse Cross mare owned by Sally Laws. April has been at
Starlit for several years with a short stay away for a few months and
welcomed her return to the Starlit Resort. April is our farm
fashion specialist and is always seen with her best attire for the
weather. Both have been practicing Western Pleasure for many years
and now both have ventured into dressage training along with their
western heritage. This new endeavor is being well achieved and
April may begin her show debut at local dressage schooling shows for
2010. |

Eddy -
Purebred Arabian Gelding owned by Jean Caskey and residing at Starlit
since 2003. Eddy being full of personality makes it quite clear
where he stands with his other equine friends no matter how small he may
be or how large the other may be in comparison. Jean and Eddy have
the pleasure of being coached by Per Meisner to progress in their
dressage training but also enjoy the relaxing ride around Goodstown Road
after challenging workouts or just taking it easy for the day. |

Habi -
Purebred Arabian Gelding owned by Anne Dempsey, Hendry & Alex Kanters
and residing at Starlit since 2003. Habi is now semi-retired but
is still enjoying his regular trail rides with Hendry and Anne. He
has had a short stay in the Arabian Show world but his niche is in
pleasure riding and being a great companion for his new found family
since 2004. He is a horse that everyone loves and he shows pride
in every step he makes. |

Sari - Bay mare owned
by Sue Neilson and leased by Keray Poultier, residing at Starlit since
the commencement of her lease with Keray in 2008. Keray and Sari
are a perfect match. Sari being well trained in dressage and
retired for several years is now bringing Keray back into the dressage
discipline at a safe comfortable pace and Sari is enjoying the pampering
she receives on a daily basis. |

Rif - Sport Horse
Gelding owned by Tracey Leesti and residing at Starlit since 2005.
This big 18 hh gelding is a gently giant and has been present in
Tracey's life since his birth. He has competed and is well versed
in Dressage but is now enjoying his semi-retirement as a result of a
stifle injury that removed him front he competition life. With no
regrets they are both enjoying the relaxing trail rides together sharing
those special moments in our life. |

Beau - Mixed Breed
Gelding owned by Nancy Hodgson-Grey and residing at Starlit since 2004.
This great friend has welcomed his partnership with Nancy after
assisting the National Equestrian Park in their lesson program.
Being turn away from the Park as a lesson horse his future was
undetermined until Nancy made him part of her family and ensured his
care from that point forward. Both are now training in dressage
with Linda Trendhome and enjoying their path up the ladder in the art of
dressage.. |

Heart - Mixed Breed
mare owned by Penny Greenwood and residing at Starlit since August 2009.
This new member to the farm has joined us after the farm where she had
been residing at was sold. Heart is trained in advance dressage
and being ridden by mother and daughter and is continuing to be coached
by Ron King. We hope to see her competing in the show ring at the
National Level in 2010. |

Tequilla - Appaloosa
Cross mare owned by Val Hayes and residing at Starlit since 2003.
Val has earned the respect from Tequilla over some very difficult
battles in her earlier years of their partnership but now they can enjoy
the benefit of their efforts as they can be seen enjoying a nice ride in
the fields around Starlit Rain, shine, cold or extreme warmth they
enjoy spending time together. |

Charm - Arabian Cross
mare owned by Cynthia Incze and residing at Starlit since 2004.
Cynthia has made Charm what she is today. Being coached by Debra
Quirt both have progressed considerably over the years. With Cynthia's
busy family schedule some time was found for Charm to participate in a
Dressage Schooling show and will again re-enter the show circuit in the
future. Being a trust worthy horse, Charm has also been a teacher of
young up coming riders assisting Debra's niece in achieving confidence
under saddle. |

Bob - Registered
Arabian gelding owned by Heather McGregor and residing at Starlit since
August 2009. Heather and Bob recently joined us but they are no
stranger to the Starlit family as Bob has competed in dressage against
Tyson in both their younger years and definitely gives us a run for the
money. As with Heart, Bob and Heather joined us after the farm
where Bob was residing was sold. Bob and Heather are now enjoying the
peace and tranquility we have to offer at the farm. |

Seiger - Mixed Breed
gelding owned by Heather Curry and residing at Starlit since 2008.
Seiger is one of a kind and with Heather they make a great pair. With
Heather's determination and dedication to ride, Seiger is competing at
the Silver Level Dressage and has progressed during the course of the
year. We will have to keep an eye on him for 2010 as he continues to
mature and improve in the show ring and will be a tough one to beat. |

Maggy - Canadian mare
owned by Eryn Cowell and residing at Starlit since July 2008 when she
first joined the Cowell family. Maggy is a well mannered mare
allowing Eryn to enjoy any desire she may have including acrobats.
She is currently commenced her training over fences as well as in the
art of Dressage and will be hitting the competitive circuit for 2010
where they will make their stand |
