OUR SHOW RESULTS:

Shortly after Kailan's birth Lise packed up her infant daughter and took her to a horse show (in fact this historic event took place only a few days following Kailan's delivery).  From that point forward, and continuing to the present-day, this mother/daughter team became a familiar sight at area shows, AHA Regions 16 and 18 Championships, Silver Dressage, and (more recently) at Arabian Canadian Nationals in Regina.

SMX Tyson+/ & Kailan Clark:

Meet SMX Tyson +/ and his favourite rider, Kailan.  "Ty" began his show career as a Western Pleasure horse winning classes across Ontario and in Syracuse, NY.  Kailan, quite literally, grew up on Tyson's back.  She first showed him in a leadline class at the Tulip Arabian show at the age of 9 months and continues to show this wonderful gelding. Kailan & Tyson won numerous ribbons in Walk/Jog and culminated their walk/trot years together with a Region 18 Top 5 in Walk/Trot Hunter Pleasure in 2005.  Then, in 2006, they really hit their stride together. The list of wins is impressive for an 13 year old and her 21 year old gelding!  Kailan doesn't let Mom ride Tyson anymore, so, her results from 2006 and on are the consequence of Kailan's hard work, dedication and love of the horses.

In addition to this impressive list of wins, Tyson was awarded his Arabian Horse Association LEGION OF HONOR at a ceremony held at the Tulip Arabian Horse Show in June (2006) .  Then, much to the delight and surprise of the Starlit Farm family, Tyson went on to earn his Supreme Legion of Honor (confirmed 11/06 by AHA). 

The Xceptshanell Rose+/ & Lise Clark:

Affectionately known as "Star" this beautiful dark bay Half-Arabian mare has certainly lived up to her name.  Her show career began in early Spring, 2005 and a short Sixty days later earned her first Championship title being named the Eastern Canadian Breeders Champion Half Arabian/Anglo-Arabian Hunter Pleasure Amateur to Ride and Eastern Canadian Breeders Top Six Half Arabian/Anglo Arabian Hunter Pleasure Open.  Not to be outdone by her stable mate and traveling companion (SMX Tyson+/), Star was recently awarded her Arabian Horse Association LEGION OF HONOR award as a result of her outstanding achievements through the 2006 show season (confirmed 11/06). In 2008 she has also earned her SUPREME LEGION OF HONOR award(confirmed early 2008).

Colorado RF & Kailan Clark:

Meet Colorado RF, Kailan's new and upcoming young horse.  At 5 years of Age and only after two weeks of meeting up with Kailan, Colorado was off to Syracuse Finger Lakes Arabian Show.  After only two shows, Finger Lakes in Syracuse and Tulip Show in Kemptville,  he is qualified for both Region 16 and 18 for Hunter Pleasure Junior to Ride and is also qualified for Canadian Nationals Hunter Pleasure Junior to Ride for 2009 and 2010.  Later this fall he will commence his dressage shows at schooling levels in preparation for the 2010 Show Season.  He is a must to see and will certainly make a stand in the show ring in the 2010 Show Season and is expected to travel to Canadian Arabian Nationals in Regina for 2010.

SPECIAL RECOGNITION:

Kailan Clark was awarded a Rider recognition award in 2008

Kailan Clark was awarded  award "Rider Legion Of Honor" by the Arabian Horse Organisation in 2008 as a result of all her accomplishment in the show ring.  Kailan has been on a horse at the early age of 1 day and commenced her Class A show career at the age 8 months old in lead line and has not missed a show season yet.  After years of competing walk/trot, and her mother holding her back from the Canter Classes, she is now tough competition for all.  She has earned a deep understanding and communication with the equine that comes as naturally as breathing for this young rider.  This gift has been reflected time and time again as she rides a multitude of horses at Starlit Farm.
